A R Rahman's Blue

And now the wait is over as the Music of most awaited film of the year the A R Rahman's Blue has been over. The movie under Sri Ashtvinayak banner and the Music & Background Score is of no one but the Last Year's Oscar winner A R Rahman. After Oscar winning its Rahman's first music release and there was a Lot expectations from the listener's side.If U listen the complete Album U will find a lot more than what U hav expected to him. The Album has Seven Tracks and we hav also seen From Guru in 2006 that he has been continuously giving mind blowing no.s to Shreya either it is Yuvraaj or Ghajini all mindblowing no.s and again the same has happened Shreya has got Three out of Seven tracks in the Album.Coming to the Tracks........

1. Aaj Dil Gustakh Hai


This is the first Shreya no. in the Album and is a duet with the talented Shukhwinder Singh. The most interesting part of the song is its lines "Chal Chal Sara Rara Re" Shreya is just amaging rendering the lines.The lyrics as written by Mayur Puri is just Awesome. The creates an energy within the song . Shreya seems to hav used her vocals as she used in the tracks in the Album Pooja Bhatt's "Holiday" . The song on the whole is a mindblowing composition. Must Listen the track............

2. Fiqrana

This is an another duet of Shreya with Vijay Prakash(who sung Manmohini Morey in Yuvraaj for Rahman). Actually Shreya is an essential part of the track but got very few lyrics only in the mid of each Antara.This song is one of the best tracks of the year 2009 and going to be good milestone for Vijay Prakash.The music is just awesome.This 5 min 25 sec song will must hit the Charts. Must Listen to this track also.

3. Rehnuma

This is a typical Rahman no. as this song will not attract U in the first turn but as rahman other no.s if U listen it few times U will get addicted of this track. Thiss track titled "Rehnuma" is a Duet of Sonu & Shreya and the lyrics which has been wriiten by Abbas Tyrewala and is mindblowing.At the start of the song Shreya's soft lines are mindblowing when Sonu joins her.Shreya modulated sensuous voice in the song adds extra attraction to the track.Sonu is also at his Best in the no. and I must say that U all will be addicted of the track after U listen it few times.Really Rahman is an amaging composer as he knows whose voice will fit the song.Must Listen this whole Album...............

Main Aur Mrs Khanna

After the last music release of Wanted last month Sajid-Wajid has again come up with another melodious Album The Salman Khan starrer Main Aur Mrs Khanna.This album also contain some mindblowing no.s.Actually all the composers know if there is soft melodious track there is no alternate of Shreya. So following this the Album has four tracks of Shreya.Actually only two tracks and three versions of a track makes it four.Coming to the tracks:-

1. Don't Say Alvida

This is a very sweet song sung by Sonu & Shreya.Music & Lyrics is also nice and need to say abt the vocals as on the mic there r Sonu & Shreya.The song starts with soft sonu's voice & Shreya joins him a little bit late but after that the song is complete duet with full melody and sweetness.This song has two more versions one is its remix versions which has the same singers and another is the sad version of the song which is abt 1 min 30 sec and is a solo of Shreya but she has only one stanja abt 40 seconds of vocals in the tracks and the rest is music.All the versions are nice and U must go for it especially for the duet-the original version. 2. Tumne Socha

This is a sweet duet of Wajid & Shreya. As this song starts U will find the song exactly like the Soniyo from Raaz The Mistry Continues. But It changes its way later and U will find Wajid is also doing a good job in singing also. On The whole the song is good to listen but not makes such an effect to be addicted of the song. Lets see if in future may happen to this track. For now enjoy listening the song..........

After winning her Third National Award she was late to know abt her win as she was busy in studios. On returning home she knew abt it. All these she described in her recent Interview in the Delhi Times dated Sep 10 2009. Its for U all presented below ......

You must be excited about winning the National Award for the third time
More than excited, Im grateful to God for this honour. I didnt know that I had won the award because I was recording and my cell phone was switched off. My mom was trying to get in touch with me frantically to break the news. Only when I got back home did I come to know about the award.


The song for which you won the award was a chart-topper for a long time

Thats the beauty of the song. When I recorded Yeh Ishq Hai (Jab We Met), I somehow knew that it would strike a chord with a lot of people. It has a beautiful vibe to it and the composition was amazing. In fact, when I was recording the number everything fell into place. I enjoyed myself thoroughly and got into the flow of things immediately.

So how important is winning a National Award

This is my third National Award and I feel over the moon! Its always good to receive recognition for the hard work you have put in. As far as converting it into work is concerned, thats not a point of concern.

You are quite a firecracker on stage as well

Its a challenge to perform on stage; any singer will vouch for that. But I like feeding off the vibe from the audience. Its a little scary also. There are times when the sound is all messed up or the musicians make mistakes on stage. As a performer you have to cover up those faults and not let the audience know. But recording and live performances are equally challenging . There are days when singers are tired and their voices dont sound up to the mark. The recording does not go that well and its frustrating for the composer and singer. But I guess these are professional hazards.

There has also been a drastic change in your image. You have become more stylish

I love dressing up. At home and at my recordings, Im dressed casually . But when I make a public appearance I like putting a fashionable foot forward. My sense of style is completely mine be it the toga style gown or the short churidaars . I dont have a stylist because its a drag to find a good one. I think with the ever-growing scrutiny from the media one tends to get a little conscious. But I see nothing wrong in dressing your age and being stylish.

So, any plans of celebrating your win

Well, as of now I havent made any plans. And I dont want to throw a party or anything. I would prefer to take a long break and go on vacation instead . Thatd be a great way to celebrate.

Another National Award for Shreya

The National Award for the year 2007 has been declared and it is a matter of grt pride for the Fans of Shreya that she has been declared the besr female playback singer fo the year 2007 for her song Yeh Ishq Hai from Jab We Met. As she deserved it and this was her Third National Award. A Ton of congratulations to Shreya for her Third National Award Hope she will continue getting awards in an endless sequence.

Yes the title is a little bit confusing but this is the title of The Upcoming Movie of Himesh Reshammiya, starring himself.And as it is his movie so he plays tripple role as before , The Actor , The Music Director & The Singer. No Doubt Whatever be the movie but his music always hits Top of the Charts.Lyrics has been given by Subrat Sinha.As before the Lead Female Playback Singer in the Movie is non other than Shreya. She has sung Four songs in the movie all Duets with Himesh Reshammiya.Believe me if U stand all the four songs in a Queue U will not be able to select one of them to listen First as all of them are just Awesome. All soft no.s U will get a feel of the soft tracks of Namastey London.Coming to the Tracks .....

1. Janeman
This Track is of duration 4 min 3 secs with its first half the Himesh track and the second Half is of Shreya. The lyrics is too good that U will love the song in the first time. The background music is so soft and melodious a complete Himesh music. The lines of Shreya are like......... "Jitna Bhi Hum Tumko Chahein Kam Lagta Hai Ye Isq Isiliye Hi To Pal Pal Barhta Hai, Tumse Hi is Jeevan Ka Hum Sara Bharam Rakhte Hain, Tum Tor Na Dena Isko Gujaarish Ye Karte Hain, Jaaneeman Jaaneeeman".I think this song to be the best song in the Album. 2. Koi Na Koi Chahe
This track is an another slow no. with a heart touching feel and the music U will remember the Anan Faanan from Namastey London.The lyrics says abt the soloness of a person and like the last track Shreya has got the later half of the song and her voice has been changed to a grt extent in starting lines but in that voice also she is marvelous and in the next line when she is original she is mindblowing. This song is also a grt no. must listen this song......

3. Teri Meri Dosti Ka
This one is the track completely a female oriented song. The song starts with slow lines but later the Violen & Octopad took the charge and really the Violen music is superb. Maximum part of the song has been sung by Shreya and her voice is just awesome in the song. The end of Antra occcurs with high pitched Himesh's voice and sounds good. On the whole the song is quite good and melodious and U all will love this track of the album too heartly. Keep Listening the song.......

4. Shaam Ho Chali Hai
And at last this very sweet duet of the the duo Himesh & Shreya titled "Shaam Ho Chali Hai", a very sweet 5 min 44 sec song. Shreya has small part at the start of each Antra but is a strong contribution to the melody of the track.And The variations Himesh has created in the Antra is mindblowing.This one is also one of the best tracks of the Album.I hope our opinion on the Album & the vocals & the Music will not be different.So U will like to this song too.........
On the whole This Album "Radio" of the composer Himesh is a huge gift to the music lovers and especially the Fans of Shreya.So keep listening the tracks. Waiting for the next release of Shreya's Melody...........
