Action Replayy

Ok as I promished I m here for U all with the most awaited songs of Our Sensational Shreya from movie "Action Replayy".As usual where there is melody there is Shreya. And also here is Pritam who has composed melodies like "Teri Ore", "Mere Dholna", "Yeh Ishq Hai" and many more for Shreya. So finally the Album is out now and U can see that in the whole Album Shreya is the only singer to get two tracks.Ok it is obvious as Vipul Shah told that this is a romantic movie so the tracks will also romantic and that's what the whole Album is. Coming to the two most beautiful tracks of the Album. And the grt thing is both are solo tracks of Shreya.

1. O Bekhabar...

I wanted to share one instance of mine when I listened "Teri Ore" from Singh Is King first time on an FM.My first word was "this will be the Award wining track of the year" And believe me when Shreya got Filmfare and IIFA for that song I was just soooo happy. And again believe me after listening this track "O Bekhabar" my thought was just the same as it was for "Teri Ore".It is just the magic that Pritam and Shreya has created in the track. The song is 4 min 29 sec long and will not let U go anywhere within this time. The songs are penned by the famous Lyricist "Irshad Kamil".The song starts with the lines "O Bekhabar...O Bekadarar...Betabiya bechainiyan Hain Jawan Meri Nazar Dhoondhe Tujhe Tu Kahaan Aa Tujhko Main Ankhon Ka Kajal Bana Lu....."  And Some Lines are so sweet and how sweetly renderred by Shreya...In the last of first Antra there are some very sweet lines like "Tu Mile To Silsiley HoVo Shuru Jo Hain Khuda Ki Raza..... Tere Bina Hai Jindagi Bemaza ...Tu Miljaye To Main Jahaan Se Chipa Loon.....O Bekhabar....O Bekhabar"  Similarly in the 2nd Antra the lines   "De Bata Gar Ho Pata Kya Hai Yahi Dil Ki Khata Ki Saja... Khud Mein Hi Main Hoti Hoon Kyun Lapata... Main Janu Na Is Dil Ko Kaise Sambhalun ....O Bekhabar ....O Bekhabar ... " are just awesome.I think these lines are the most beautiful parts of the song.I m so happy to get such a gift from Shreya that I just wanted to write the whole song here but then controlled myself and  left something for U all.On the whole I'll not recomend U but force U all to must listen this melody of Shreya.God Bless Shreya that she keep spreading her sweetness to us in the form of "Teri Ore" and "O Bekhabar"

2. Baki Main Bhool Gayi...

Coming to the nxt one this again is a solo track of Shreya titled "Baki Main Bhool Gayi" a rocking track from "Pritam" as he used to compose.Again mindblowing Lyrics by Irshad Kamil..A song whose flow does not break at all. The whole track goes in a constant rythm. The Only weak point I got that both the Antra has same Lyrics. This seems somewhat awkward if U listen it carefully. One old song of Shreya had also the same problem can U remember that track.....Ok I'll tell........that song was "Aye Meri Jindagi" from the movie Saaya. The female version which Shreya has sung had same lyrics in both the Antra. But other than this the track is a marvelous one and the style Shreya sang it is just awesome.I think both the songs of Shreya in the Album are the best two tracks of the Album all other songs are also good.Plz listen this song and enjoy the Melody of Our Melody Queen.Till the nxt Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Eyi Raja (Brindavanam-Telgu)

Few days before one song of Shreya released in the Telgu Movie "Brindavanam" which I missed to mention here. The song is duet of both Legends "Shankar Mahadevan and Shreya Ghoshal". This song titled "Eyi Raja" is a 5 min 01 sec track and start with soft voices of Shankar and Shreya and finally gets its pace.Shankar is as bold as he ad Shreya is as melodious as she is...Both are at their best. The beats in the song especially the drum is mindblowing. If U love listening track with beats and if the singers are such legends then there is no question at all.Just go for the song and till nxt Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Tangaliyalli(Veera Parampare)

Kannad music industry is another home for Shreya after Bollywood. Her recent release is duet song with Kartik titled "Tangaliyalli" from the Kannad movie "Veera Parampare". Music has been composed by S.Narayan. I think Shreya has that magic that she can change the scenario of the song .That is why any song sung by her in any language will never irritate U.The sweetness in her voice is just enough to mesmerize anybody. So as in this song music is simple but when Shreya comes behind the mic it is just listen and not to do anything type of scenario. Some classical touch in the song is good to hear.On the whole U can listen this song as Shreya is before the mic.So till the nxt Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Tangaliyalli...

Neeyum Naanum(Mynaa-Tamil)

Last week released one more Tamil song of Shreya in the Tamil movie "Mynaa" music composed by " D. Imman". The song is a duet of  "Shreya & Benny Dayal" and is a rock track but the start of the song is very soft specially when Shreya comes before the mic.Everytime in the song she starts with "Neeyum Naanum" is just ultimate and this 4 min 57 sec track U can say is mixture of Benny's rock and Shreya's soft singing. On the whole the song is good and it is worth listening it.So go for the track and will meet U all soon till then Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Neeyum Naanum...

Dil Ko Chura Ke(Arohan-Bengali)

Recently there released music of a Bengali Film "Arohan" music composed by "Suparno Kanti Ghosh".As we know Shreya is we can say omnipresent , in any language if U search her she will  appear. Shreya has sung one solo track in this Bengali Movie. Actually the song titled "Dil Ko Chura Ke" is a hindi song don't know why but is again a sweet typical Shreya song.I m sure in the whole India if a composer composes a sweet soft romantic track his/her fir choice for the Female Playback Singer will be Shreya.
Coming to the track this track has very soft melody and very few instruments used in the song and a grt lyrics.U will also get the Bengali classical touch in the song.Between the first and second antra a very sweet flute music has been used.On the whole U shouldn't miss this Shreya no.Go for the song and till the nxt Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Pyar Itna Na Kar(A Flat)

Our Melody Queen Shreya is just master in all the genres.and when it comes to soft and sweet romantic no. then there is no comparision at all. All these songs are made for Shreya and she just does her magic to the songs. The same magic has been done in her new release titled "Pyar Itna Na Kar" from the movie "A Flat" and music composed by "Bappi Lahri".This 4 min 59 sec track is a soft sweet melody from Shreya's throat.I think this solo track of Shreya will also be one of the remembered romantic sweet track of Shreya. So don't miss it and listen it.Till nxt Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Sasural Muniya(Aakrosh)

Again Shreya has come up with a stunning track in the Priyadarshan's upcoming "Aakrsoh" music composed by "Pritam".As we know Pritam for giving grt romantic tracks. As before this Album is a complete melody. One of those melodies is rendered by "Our Queen Shreya".The song titled "Sasural Muniya" is abt the marriage of a girl.
Very Nicely written Lyrics by "Irshad Kamil". The signature lines are "Kato Piya Ji Ka Charkha Jao Ji Sasural Muniya...Raton Ko Chahat Ki Barkha Jao Ji Sasural Muniya..." and in the voice of Shreya the good lyrics and the nice composition hav given this song the original color. The second Antra has also quite attractive lines like "Sasu Ke Sirhane Ya Dewar Se Batiyane Baitho To Piya Pe Ho Nazar...Sari Batein Peechhe Tum Jaana Naina Meeche Bulale Piya Bheetar Agar..." .This 5 min 8 sec track is a full entertainment plus full melody. On the whole I think the track is a grt hit. I think this will be the nxt track to be famous in the marriage ceremonies. Hats off to Shryeya for singing so melodiously. For U all I m leaving the track enjoy and Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Jhootha Hi Sahi

Again the Rain of Shreya's song has started in Bollywood. Coming to recent one again the Duo Rahman sir and Shreya hav come up with Abbas tyrewala's nxt "Jotha Hi Sahi". Now there is so much proof that if there is A R Rahman as a composer then Shreya must be there for the Female lead playback singing. I think today Shreya is the first choice of Rahman sir as a lead playback singer. We can see this in all the recent releases of A R Rahman either it from the past Guru or Yuvraj or Gajhini or Ravana or Robot there is Shreya. Now coming to the songs Shreya got two tracks in the album.

1. Cry Cry...
This is the most famous track of the album and the most promoted also. This song is a duet of Rashid Ali and Shreya.Shreya joined the song after the first antra and fills the remaining melody in the song.A complete Rahman no. and the variations made by Shreya and Rashid Ali are fantastic.A very meaningful lyrics by Abbas Tyrewala. The song will be on the charts for a long time.So must go for this song.

2. Pam Para...
Oh my god what a song what a fabulous start of the song. Firstly I want to tell U that this track is a solo of Shreya and what a composition. I just loved the song with its start. We already know that A R Rahman is master of selecting singer for his compositions. And I think Shreya was the best choice for the song and Rahman knew that. Shreya's voice completely suits this very peppy no. In my opinion this is the best track of the album. The beats in the song are mindblowing and I can bet U all will love the song just after listening the mukhra. Go for the track and till the nxt Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Unalagai Konda(Ooh La La Laa)

Last month One song I missed which is a must listen song.A song from Tamil movie "Ooh La La Laa" music composed by "Sekar Chandra, V Kumar" and is a solo track of Shreya. A mindblowing composition I felt very bad how can I miss such a track for so long. The style of Shreya in this track is ultimate. The song is not very long and this 4 min 16 sec track will surely stuck to ur heart it is a free mood song and U can listen it any time.I will say must go for the track and don't miss even a Lip Slip of Shreya.Till nxt one Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Here an another grt Kannad release of Shreya in the kannad movie "Bindaas Hudugi".Music composed by "Yaara Ramesh" and song titled "Kannalli Kannittu Nodu" sung by "Shreya and Tippu". The song is melodious like all other kannad hits of Shreya and some alaaps in the song by Shreya are just heart touching.Godess Saraswati is in Shreya's throat so anything out of it is just sweet andfull of melody. She is the real melody queen.
I can't discuss the lyrics but the song is full of melody. So listen to this no.and till nxt one Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Kannalli Kannittu Nodu ...

Sorry for being late here but due to my illness I was out of network. But very happy that Shreya's songs keep on coming and coming so I hav a lot to write.Today I m talking abt her latest release from the most awaited music release of Robot composed by A R Rahman. We hav heard the song in Tamil sung by Shreya and Vijay Prakash. In Hindi the song  is titled "Pyara Tera Gussa Bhi" sung by "Shreya and Mohit Chauhan".In Hindi the lyricist is the famous one "Swanand Kirkire". This is the first time I hav seen A R Rahman working wih Swanand Kirkire. The lyrics of the song is unique using scientific words like Electron Neutron.... as the demand of the movie. The compositon is same in all the three versions Tamil ,Hiindi and Telghu.Very nice composition and Shreya voice is just amaging as always. So this song for U all.Till the nxtone Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

The start of the song is just heart touching with Shreya's Aalap and some hindi lyrics "Ishq Hai Yeh".The only three words I understood in the song are these three hindi words. The complete song is so soft and melodious that sure U all will love this track. In the middle of antra U'll get some feel of Shreya voice in "Tere Naina" from CC2C.A must listen no. so for U all I m leaving this track.Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Dabangga

Yes the time has come I can write abt my awaited music of  "Dabangga".There was a huge Music Release Party in Delhi on 6th of August. And the composers Sajid-Wajid and Lalit Pandit were present at the ceremony.Coming to our point Our Melody Queen has spread her sweet voice in Dabanga also for the composers Sajid-Wajid.She has got two tracks in the Album. One titled "Chori Kiya Re Jiya" is duet sung by the best duet duo Sonu and Shreya. The second song is again the Teri Ore hit pair Rahat ji and Shreya titled "Tere Mast Mast Do Nain".
1. Tere Mast Mast Do Nain...
"Taakte Rehte Tujhko Saanjh Savere" what a fabulous start of the song by Rahat Ji.Firstly I should tell some history of the song. The song was composed by Sajid-Wajid sometimes earlier for Salman Khan but Salman told he will use this song where it will fit best and for Dabanga he found it to be the best script for this song. The song actually has three versions. One a solo by Rahat ji, another a duet by Rahat ji and Shreya and third a remix version again by Rahat ji.So we will go for the duet version. As I hav said what a fabulous start of the song and with the Mukhra and 1st Antra Rahat ji continued and then with 2nd Antra Shreya comes behind the mic.Again what a mindblowing start by Shreya "Tujhse Suru Hui Tujhpe Hi Khatma Ho Duniya Meri Duniya Duniya Meri" What a fabulous singing and a amzing composition.I will say U all that U all should go for the song.So for U all I m leaving the song...
Tere Mast Mast Do Nain...

2. Chori Kiya Re Jiya...
Again what a fabulous start by Sonu..."Sachi Sachi Teri Nazarein Ek Darpan..." This is what I call a complete Romantic track. After "Don't Say Alvida" this is another time when Sajid-Wajid with Sonu and Shreya has created magic. And the line "Pal Bhar Mein Tune To Chori Kiya Re Jiya More Piya" by Shreya will surely take out ur heart. So I will not talk much but let U all listen this track. And till my next comeback Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Chori Kiya Re Jiya...

We Are Family

Shankar Ehshaan Loy hav come up with there new music of the Karan Johar's upcoming movie "We Are Family".The music has been released on 2nd Aug and I m here for the tracks in the Album which has been sung by "Shreya Ghoshal".As Shreya has always been the first choice for the female playback in SEL's compositions.Shreya has given her voice to two songs of the Album. One titled "Ankhon Mein Neendein" is a duet of Shreya & Rahat ji and second titled "Hamesha & Forever" is also a duet but of Shreya and Sonu Nigam.
Coming to the songs...........

1. Ankhon Mein Neendein...
This song I will say is just a one shot dose.Just U hav to listen it once then after U will get attached to it.Again the "Teri Ore" hit pair Shreya and Rahat ji.The song is 5 min 3 sec long and the start is so good that it will not  make U leaving the track. The Sargam that Shreya and Rahat ji has sang is just outstanding. It starts like "SaNi SaNi SaGa Re.....SaNi SaNi SaGa Re.....SaNi SaNi SaGa GaMaMa Re..........ReReReRe PaMa .....ReReReRe MaGa.....ReReReRe NiDa NiSa" and just these line will make U follow this track further. Then after the song starts and both Shreya and Rahat ji has created a  romantic feel in the song. The lines starting the Antra by Shreya are somewhat modulated just like in "Tere Naina" in CC2C.One another line which will stuck to ur heart is "Hobhi Jara Chaahat Sada Hi Sarfiri Ankhon Se Ho Ankhon Pe Ye Jadugari".This line has been after each Antra and I just loved the way both of them sang this just lovely. The Sargam part and these lines lead the whole song.I will not say more If I will start I can't stop myself saying this song marvelous fantastic and just Awesome singing. The remaining I hav left for U all must listen this song.
And For U all....

Ankhon Mein Neendein...

2. Hamesh and Forever...
This track is a duet the best combo Shreya and Sonu. The lyrics is ultimate and the song starts with Sonu's voice with a soul feel. After the first Antra Shreya catches the mic.Shreya has only four lines in the Antra as the song is not so long and these lines are just grt. Both Shreya and Sonu has given their soul to the song. And I m sure this track will also catch up the charts and will be liked by the audiance. So I will say that U should listen the tracks and enjoy. And Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.
 And For U all...

Hamesha and Forever...

Will meet U next with upcoming releases of Shreya in Dabanga and Robot hindi version.Till then Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Revelling in success - An Article(THE HINDU)

At the age of 4, she accompanied her mom on harmonium. A few years later, the shy kid floored Sanjay Leela Bhansali on popular television talent show with her mellifluous voice instantly becoming the choice to be Paro's voice in Devdas. With four national awards for best female playback singing already in her kitty, Shreya Ghoshal has come a long way. From Bairi Piya bada bedardi to hip-shaking songs in Om Shanti Om to sultry numbers in Jism, this Bengali girl next-door has the versatility that ranges from the raunchy to romance.
“After Devdas, people started branding me as someone who can croon only serious songs. But I begged to differ and went about doing seductive numbers such as Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai. I was the first choice for soft and slow tracks, but then with Yeh Ishq hai number from Jab We Met things are on the fast track,” says Shreya who was in town for the friendship concert, which was her first public performance in the city.
Despite a late night recording, Shreya didn't mind to give this interview. “The fun we have in recording studio is stuff of envy for non-singers. Seriously, we have a rocking time in the studios. This was my first public performance and it was great fun. I have earlier performed in the city for corporate events.”
Daughter of a scientist father who works in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Shreya does not have any musical lineage although her mother had love for music. In fact, her family is full of top-notch academicians. “I grew up in a non-musical family of doctors, scientists and engineers but fortunately my family allowed me to pursue my passion for music else I would have ended up researching in a laboratory,” giggles Shreya.
But with singing playing a major role in her life, Shreya's studies has completely taken a back seat.
“I was enrolled in the Science stream earlier when my singing kept me busy I shifted to arts. And that's how I had my first tryst with literature. I developed the habit of reading books and now I a big time fiction and non-fiction reader,” says Shreya
Recollecting the days when she started singing Shreya says, “I was 13 when I recorded my first music album. I never performed anywhere until I was 18. When people goaded me to perform on stage I would refuse because none of them were my songs. But at 18, I performed live. Music and reading books is perhaps in my genes. My mom studied literature and loved singing.”
Besides Hindi, she has sung in other regional languages including Telugu, Marathi, Punjabi, Assamese, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada and won acclaim in all these languages. Oriya, is the only language she is yet to open her innings in. When her fans compare her with the ‘Nightingale of India', Shreya is at once humbled. “It is their love that makes them compare me to Lataji. But I have a long way to go.” Shreya doesn't have the typical Bengali sweet tooth, but yearns to have her favourite fish curry with rice cooked by her mom. “I am a foodie who naturally loves Bengali food. I love cooking and when I am home I make myself busy in the kitchen whenever I get an opportunity.”

Kadal Anukkal(Endhiran-The Robot)

I m very happy that I hav no time for listening and posting review of the songs of Shreya.U all are thinking why I m saying like this but sorry to confuse but this is not because I m too busy these days but these days Sheya is giving back to back releases in Tamil, Telghu, Kannad, Bollywood , Bengali. So I m just busy in listening these too many songs at a time so I m a little bit little bit late in posting the songs. But I m very happy abt this.
Coming to the very much awaited music release of A R Rahman's "Endhiran-The Robot"(Tamil) starring Rajnikant & Aishwarya Rai which released last week. And where there is the Maestro A R Rahman, Shreya has to be there for female vocals. As expected Shreya has a duet titled "Kadal Anukkal" in the movie with Vijay Prakash. The song is starts with vocals of Vijay Prakash and the main beats starts after a minute.Shreya takes the mic after 1 min 13 sec and U will just say wow what a sweet voice she has.In the second Antra which starts at 4 min & 15 sec Shreya has just modulated her voice and what a fantastic rendering. Both Shreya & Vijay Prakashhav done a grt job and what to say of Rahman sir.He is just amazing. The movie has a hindi version also titled "Robot". I think the compositions are same as that of Ravana only the lyrics will be different. In hindi version lyrics has been given by the famous lyricist "Swanand Kirkire" and the track of Shreya is titled "Pyaara Tera Gussa Bhi", and this is a duet of "Shreya & Mohit Chauhan".The song has a telghu version also sung by Shreya & Vijay Prakash.Waiting for the music release, Will come with the Hindi version. So its now ur time to listen to the song.Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Kadal Anukkal...

Chita Pata Pata(Matthe Mungaaru)

As I hav said earlier also that Shreya has now became the Lead Female Playback Singer in Kannad Music Industry same as she is Bollywood. The time has came that Shreya is present in almost all the Kannad Music releasing these days. There is no doubt that she is the only Female Playback Singer leading in almost all the languages she is singing. And I think no language is left for her voice.Shreya has become the Queen of Melody in all regions.Keep it up Shreya.
Coming to her recent Kannad release from the movie “Matthe Mungaaru” titled “Chita Pata Pata”, music composed by  X Paul Raj . This track of the album is a duet of Shreya & Kartik. This song starts with beats which seems something of Rahman type but soon after the illusion goes off. This 4 min 53 sec track is a complete mixture of good melody and sweet voices of Kartik & Shreya. The music between the Antra’s are beautiful. And also start and end of Antra’s are just awesome. After listening the whole song 4 or 5 times I understood only the line “Pal Pal Har Pal”.But Shreya from the beginning of her career in Kannad music is so  confident that If U do not know she is not a Kannad U can’t get it from her singing.I should actually not saying this as I do not understand southindian pronuntiations and lyrics but I hav heard this from experts who listen very minutely the Lyrics.God Bless Shreya and make her Queen of Melody in every Language. For U I m posting this song must listen it and Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

My Feelings abt "Tum Jo Aaye"(Once Upon A Time In Mumbai)

As this is true that this blog is completely dedicated to our  Melody Queen Shreya Ghoshal. but still I m discussing abt a track which is not of Shreya. This post I m publishing is just my opinion I wanted to share with U.Few weeks ago the music of "Once Upon A Time In Love" released. As the music has been composed by Pritam All the songs are full of melody.I m completely satisfied with the melody Pritam has created but I m somewhat disappointed with Pritam in  voice selection for the particular song "Tum Jo Aaye".The song is a beautiful composition and has been sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan & Tulsi Kumar which I think was not appropriate choice for the song. Rahat ji is marvelous but I think on the Female side Shreya would hav just perfect. But Unfortunately I don't know why Pritam done this but .....
In my opinion if this song would hav been sung by Rahat ji & Shreya, this had been another "Teri Ore".Heartly speaking the song is so melodious that I used to listen it but every time I listen this song I feel very sad as why Shreya is not behind microphone. As Shreya has not got this song but this is not a loss of Shreya, this is a huge loss for all the music lovers and especially the Fans of Shreya and ofcourse Pritam.Hope this will not repeat in future.I heartly missed the sweet voice of Shreya in such a melodious composition. But Our Melody Queen is above all this and she is a living legend.I don't know but many of U 'll not agree with me but as I hav said I m really sad abt this track and I hav just shared my feelings with U all.Best of Luck Shreya. And for all of U Keep listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Pal Mein (Aashayein)

Last Week released music of movie "Aashayein".And the music has been  composed by three composers Salim-Suleman,Pritam & Shiraz Uppal .The movie is under a big production house Percept Pictures and we know where a big film is in queue Shreya has to be there for female playback.Shreya got one solo song titled "Pal Mein" composed by Salim-Suleman and penned by  Mir Ali Hussain.          .
Coming to the song the song is a 5 min 30 sec slow soft melody. The first minute of the track contains no back beats and Shreya on the microphone but U'll not feel the abscence of music in the first minute. There after the music is typical Salim-Suleman soft no.s.Shreya as always at her best and the feel she gives in every song is just awesome. The same song is in male version and has been rendered by the legend Shankar Mahadevan. What to say abt his singing. No comparison of the two versions where one version is in the voice of Shreya Ghoshal and another by Shankar Mahadevan.Congrats to both of them for the beautiful track. And for U all the female version of the song below. Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Kannanai Thedi(Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal)

Now a time has came U can expect at least a single track of Shreya in each and every music release in any of the languages.I think Shreya is the only Female Playback singer whos is giving back to back hits in every language without any.Last week we hav discussed abt her song "Dochey" in the Telgu movie Puli And "Veerundana" in the telgu movie Avakai Biryan.Sometimes before she has sung for A R Rahman in Raavan Tamil. And what to say abt Bollywood it is voiceless without Shreya Ghoshal.

This week a new song of Shreya released in the Tamil movie "Marupadiyum Oru Kadhal" titled "Kannanai Thedi".The song is 4 min 31 sec long and a complete classical no.For the first 10 sec U'll get a feel of "Har Taraf Har Jagah" but after that the whole track changes and what the start of the song that is Shreya.I m sure U"ll get addicted of the song just after the mindblowing Mukhra. In the Antra also she is just awesome.God Bless Her to continue spreading her sweet voice to us.And For U I'll suggest to check  out this very track of Shreya even if U don't know Tamil like me.Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Dochey (Puli-Telghu)

This was a long day how I spent the last night.Today was my Instrumentation Exam and yesterday was a huge music launch of a Telghu Movie "PULI" music composed by A R Rahman and Shreya has got a track in it I was knowing this.During my preparation yesterday surfed net and Fortunately got the song anyhow and downloaded it.But beleive me I had no time to hear that song.I just saved it and shuted my lappy down............
Today after the exam I came and started the 4 min 22 sec song titled "Dochey" sung by Shreya Ghoshal, Lady Kash n Krissy. And believe me I didn't liked the song a bit in the starting upto 1 min & 40 sec but just after that Shreya took the lead and the whole scenario of the song changed completely.I was not able to believe how I liked the song so much as I rejected the song in the first 1 min.It is nothing but the effect Shreya creates in each of her tracks. The song is a complete Rahman song ... the beats the music and ofcourse the Style.Every time we hav seen when Rahman & Shreya has come together it has created a grt melody. Please Listen to the song and enjoy the Melody of Shreya.I think it is either Telghu , Tamil , Kannad or Hindi Shreya is just perfect for Melody.Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal................

After the grt hit of the song Vintunavva from Telghu movie Ye Maaya Chesave music composed by A R Rahman this is another grt hit by Shreya & Kartik. Both hav made this song a sweet liftime song just like another hit U hav sure heard the song "Oh Chandamama" from the Kannad movie "Muniya".

As U all know I can't understand Kannad so can't analyse this some so minutely but I always want to keep in touch with Melody so my melody sence says me this song is full of melody. So I'll sugest U to play this song and the melody Shreya has created in the track.
Shreya has been giving her sweet voice to Kannad music from a long time. And the list of hits is increasing.May god bless her to keep spreading her melody to us.Keep Listening Shreya Ghoshal.

Mr. Singh Mrs. Mehta

Shreya Shreya n Shreya if this name is there U will never think of the Genre of the song.In every genre she is perfect singer either it is a romantic track or a fast item no. or a Gazal. That what happened with her new songs from the upcoming movie "Mr. Singh Mrs. Mehta".The Album has been composed by "Ustad Shujaat Husain Khan" and contains mainly gazals. This Album has two tracks of Shreya ,a Gazal and a slow duet with "Udit Narayan".As we know Shreya is perfect in classical music ans her rendition in Gazal is just marvelous.
     Coming to the songs.........
 1. Baraha Dil....
This 5 minm 9 sec track is a soft Gazal sung by melodious Shreya. This track has a very sweeet lyrics by "Amitabh Verma".The song is so soft that it will make u to listen it again and believe me U will like the song. This song has also a male version sung by KK.THe same composition and beautifully sung by KK also.Enjoy Listening Baraha Dil........

 2. Behoshi Nasha Khushboo...
I hav heard "Udit ji" after a lot of time. This track in the album is a duet of Udit ji and Shreya.Again asoft track with heart touching feel.On listen this song U will think these sweet voices of Udit ji & Shreya should keep going like this...But don't worry the track is of quite good length and plays upto 8 min 19 sec with three Antra. So U will completely enjoy the singing of this very soft song. Both the singers are at their best so must go for it.Keep listening Shreya Ghoshal.....

Milenge Milenge.....

The two back teo to back music release of Himesh Reshamiya....Kajarare after that "Milenge Milenge".As there is Himesh Ji composing songs then it has to be top of the Charts.
This movie "Milenge Milenge" was started in 2004 but holded due to some reasons and the music also not releases. Now as the movie release is now rescheduled so the Music is now out.Songs hav been composed that time and recorded earlier. Some of the tracks hav been modified by the composer and a new song in the voice of Himesh ji has been recorded. The title track of the Album has two versions....One sumg by "Alka Yagnik & Jayesh Gandhi" and the second version has been recorded in the voices of "Himesh & Shreya".In the Album U will encouter the first version sung by Alka Yagnik, and then the second version but I m sure U'll never go for the first version After listening the Himesh & Shreya version. Both are outstanding in the track.I got confused to hear such voice of Himesh  and Shreya is jusr awesome....and so so sweet in the line "AapkKashish Ka Kya Kehna....".Shreya's voice is like the sweet litle girl as I think the song is recorded earlier but as she is Shreya the voice has to be Sweet always. So Again the duo Himesh and Shreya hav made their magic so must go for the song.....

 Milenge Milenge...

Kajarare

After hearing the grt melody from Himesh ji in the movie Radio, the expectations were a lot from the upcoming "Kajarare" music. In the "Radio" both Himesh ji n Shreya were marvelous and at there peak so I were expecting that Shreya will get some mindblowing no.s in the upcoming "Kajarare". It actually happened as the music is out now and Shreya has teo tracks in the Album. But I somewhat disappointed with Himesh ji.In earlier days when Shreya got her first duet with Himesh ji in "Aashiq Banaya Apne", it was a huge hit but it is also true that it was a male oriented song. Many times I hav seen Himesh ji composing male oriented songs having very few lines of female. There r many examples and maximum with "Tulsi Kumar". Yeh sometimes it may happen that the situation of the song in the movie tells it to be a male oriented  track but not all time.
In "Radio" Himesh ji composed awesome composition with all type of songs pure Duets, Male and Female oriented songs. So the comple album was a grt hit. But this time also in Kajarare I saw almost all the songs is lead by Himesh ji.Not only Shreya has got less lines but also Sunidhi and Harshdeep got very few lines in the song. This is not right , a duet song should be like a proper duet. But neverthless all the compositions r grt.Shreya has got two tracks in the Album.........
 1. Tujhe Dekh Ke...

This track especially I listen only for Shreya b'coz she is just awesome in the track. She has got eight lines in the song four in each Antra. Her Lines in the first Antra "Bas Mein Nahi Hai Yaara... Mere Jasbat... Maangu Duayein Main To Saari Saari Raat...Aise Waise Kaise Bhi Ho... Ab Halaat ...Mujhe Rehna Hain Tere Bas Tere Saath." just sticks to the Heart. And all these Shreya's eight lines are just heart touching and her style oho....Even for that eight lines I will say U listen this song.

 2. Teriyaan Meriyaan...

This track has even less no. of lines for Shreya...Only four in two Antra. But she is as usual very Sweet here.In some places in the song U'll listen Shreya's voice in the backgroun.I didn't liked the lyrics so much Himesh ji's composition is grt.The use of Santoor & Violen in this track is mindblowing. So for the music and some lines of Shreya go for the song.....

Bahara (I Hate Luv Stories)

One of the most awaiting movie is the Upcoming Sonam and Imran starrer "I Hate Luv Stories".And the wait has been over as the music has been released on 25th of May.Music has been composed by the famous duo Vishal & Shekhar.
Coming to the point we are here to share the sweet voice of Shreya in one of the songs titled "Bahara". The song is 5 min 24 sec long but don't say it long its short to hear Shreya's voice only 5 mins n 24 sec.The song starts with folk voice of "Sona Mohapatra".Lovely to hear a mixture of Folk with Bollywood. The song is a complete melody and nice composition by Vishal Shekhar.Especially when each Antra starts the rendering is fabulous.I loved the whole song and hope U all will also enjoy the song Keep Listening "Shreya Ghoshal".

Bahara....

From Reality Shows To Playback Stardom.......

A recent Interview Of Shreya Ghoshal published.....
Lets hav a look on this sweet interview of Our Melody Queen...........

Shreya Ghoshal is all excited about 'Raavan' and talks to Shankaran Malini about music industry, her big inspirations and things that she likes.

Growing up with music
I spent about 13 years of my childhood in Rawatbhata, a small village near  Kota, Rajasthan. It was a township, which was cut off from the urban city life. I used to travel 10 KM up and down to Kota to learn music. I learnt classical Hindustani there. In fact, one of my initial achievements was at this place. I was nine years old then. I didn’t get the opportunity to learn Carnatic music. Then 'Sa Re Ga Ma' gave me a lot of exposure. But my first big break was singing for 'Devdas'.

Inspiration from family
My mom is a housewife and my dad an engineer. We Bengalis simply love music. My mother has been my musical inspiration and even today I look up to her opinion — be it criticism or appreciation. I need her guidance forever. But my dad silently appreciates me and whatever I am today is because of him.

Reality shows — then and now?
When I won 'Sa Re Ga Ma', the platform didnt actually become a reality show. It wasn’t that big or commercial. There wasn’t an audience reaction like today. TV itself was not that big those days. Judges in such shows used to be big names from classical music such as Zakir Hussain, Girija Devi and the like. But now the format has changed a lot. People from all over the world watch these shows, therefore the reach is bigger. Audiences make heroes out of their singers. I believe that the scope for classical music still exists, which I realised when I was doing 'Music Ka Maha Muqabla'.

Your take on mobile auditions
It is yet another platform which is commercially beneficiary to audiences. I feel it’s a good move. And as we live in a fast paced world, innovation is the key to success. There was a time when audio cassettes were popular and then audio CDs took over. But now it is the age of Internet downloads and mobile downloads.

Your take on remixes
I haven’t done a remix song as yet although some songs of mine have been remixed. Honestly I liked the original versions better. I'm okay with doing a remix as long as it enhances the song. I feel music enthusiasts do a fantastic job with remixes.

Is the music industry’s still a man’s world?
I would not completely agree with it. It’s a phase. Currently, it is Sufi music that is the trend and that is a male-dominated area. But things will not be the same forever.

About being a versatile singer
All that I can say is I pay close attention to the music director and lyricist when the concept and situation of a song is being explained. I write down the lyrics in Devanagri marking all the places with required accents. I try my best to sing it as perfectly as possible. But there have been occasions when I have made mistakes and I read the reviews on the Internet. I only try to improve myself.

Current projects
My next in Tamil will be 'Endhiran' and 'I Hate Luv Stories' in Hindi.

Role Model
My role model has always been Lataji.

Music director you want to work with?
Harris Jeyaraj. I have sung for 'Anniyan', one of his projects.  It so happened that whenever a possibility of a project would come up with him, it would not materialise owing to some reason or the other.

Would love to playback for?
Waheeda Rehman. How I wish I could sing for those B/W movies of hers.

AR Rahman
For me he has always been iconic and always full of surprises. It was for 'Enakku 20 Unakku 18' when I sang 'Azhagiya Askava'. That was my foray in Tamil. After that, it was only for 'Sillunu Oru Kadhal' that I sang 'Munbe Vaa', which went on to become a hit. Following that 'Vinnaithadi Varuvaya' and now 'Raavan'. He never repeats genres in his works and is the only music director whom I have seen working late till night. I have enjoyed working with him. I admire his patience. Thanks to him, I have experimented with so many genres.

Chennai
I am in awe of the music, the singers and music directors of the city. That apart, whenever I am here, I visit Saravana Bhavan and eat idlis and chutneys from Murugan Idli Kadai. I love the Chettinadu cuisine here.

Rapid Fire:
Can’t live without: My phone, just switched loyalties with Blackberry
Most prized possession: It’s an old Harmonium that I first used when I started to learn music.
Favourite show: How I met Your Mother
Style statement: A pair of jeans and white shirt
Fitness mantra: Treadmill and cardio.
Love to dig into: Thai cuisine, followed by Bengali cuisine and Kongunadu
What are you humming at the moment:'Jo Dil Mein Kushi', a Lataji and Hemant Kumar composition — my all-time favourite
Favourite book: Jhumpa Lahiri’s The Namesake and The Unaccustomed Earth
Unforgettable lesson at school: It used to be the little quarrels during my school days. I was both the noisemaker and the newsmaker
Your biggest fear: Music should never become a burden
Favourite singers: P Susheela and S Janaki
Lyricists : Gen X lyricists are doing a great job
If not a playback singer: I'd have become a scientist
